Are you accepting new residents?

We are not accepting new residents at this time. Please contact SPCA of Anne Arundel County or Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control.

Do you accept surrenders?

No.  If you need to surrender an animal, please contact SPCA of Anne Arundel County or Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control.

Do you have adoptable animals?

Infrequently.  Of the animals that are temporarily in our care, most have already found adoptable homes.

Does the sanctuary accept visitors?

Yes, by invitation and appointment only.

Can I volunteer at the sanctuary?

There are few volunteer opportunities at the sanctuary. Most volunteer opportunities are at our spay/neuter clinic. Please click here if you are interested in volunteering.

What type of donations do you accept?

We accept monetary donations, towels, non-fitted bedsheets, pillowcases, cleaning supplies, cat food, litter, and toys.

Why is the sanctuary no longer at 3200 Ivy Way?

The Board of Rude Ranch decided that operating a ~5000 sq. ft., 5 acre property was too financially burdensome and that organizational resources could be more effectively directed to the care of animals.
